Account Manager Sales (m/f/d) – UK & Ireland, home based

Are you an experienced Sales Specialist in the field of Biotechnology, looking for a new challenge? As a member of our international team, you will be responsible for driving sales in your own territory, contributing to our global success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for territory management and penetration
  • Provide market assessment and develop a strategy for increasing the market share
  • Manage large accounts, mapping across territories
  • Work closely with Application Specialist to address technical parts of the sales process
  • Monitor new/competing products on the market and provide feedback to the company
  • Develop relationships with Leaders & KOLs across territories
  • Demonstrate creativity in stimulating and closing business whether working remotely or in person

 

Your background

Education

  • B.Sc., M.S, or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or any Life Science field
  • Ability to explain complex science in a simplified manner

Sales Experience

  • 3+ years of selling capital scientific equipment
  • An excellent network of KOLs across academia and industry
  • Relevant knowledge of territory funding
  • Robust scientific background with ability to identify and tailor solutions to address customer needs

Communication and Soft Skills

  • Communication, presentation and commercial negotiation skills in English are essential
  • Well organized, able to manage multiple projects at a time in assigned territory
  • Team player with excellent networking ability

Other Requirements

  • Full, clean and valid driver’s license
