Account Manager Sales (m/f/d) – UK & Ireland, home based

Are you an experienced Sales Professional in the field of Life Sciences, looking for your next challenge? Or are you currently an Inside Sales and looking for your first field sales position? As a member of our international team, you will be responsible for driving sales in your own territory, contributing to our global success.



  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for territory management and penetration
  • Provide market assessment and develop a strategy for increasing the market share
  • Manage large accounts, mapping across territories
  • Work closely with Application Specialist to address technical parts of the sales process
  • Monitor new/competing products on the market and provide feedback to the company
  • Develop relationships with Leaders & KOLs across territories
  • Demonstrate creativity in stimulating and closing business whether working remotely or in person


Your background


  • B.Sc., M.S, or Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, or any Life Science field
  • Ability to explain complex science in a simplified manner

Sales Experience

  • 3+ years of selling capital scientific equipment
  • Ideally an excellent network of KOLs across academia and industry
  • Robust scientific background with ability to identify and tailor solutions to address customer needs

Communication and Soft Skills

  • Clear thinking and commercial acumen
  • Consultative approach to sales
  • Communication, presentation and commercial negotiation skills in English are essential
  • Well organized, able to manage multiple projects at a time in assigned territory
  • Collaborative team player, results focussed with excellent networking ability

Other Requirements

  • Full, clean and valid driver’s license
