Microscale Thermophoresis (MST) is an extremely valuable tool to assess and quantify ligand-receptor, cofactor-receptor and nucleic acid-receptor interactions. […] In addition to ITC, MST allowed us to examine a range of concentration ratios between the two binding partners that could not be reached with ITC and to demonstrate the existence of allosteric control in the binding of the coregulator to the homodimeric nuclear receptor. We are using the Monolith NT.115 in our daily research work and we are very satisfied by the data obtained with this novel biophysical method.
