Mariano Cardenas
Mariano Cardenas, PhD is a Product Manager at NanoTemper Technologies. He received a biochemistry degree at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. He then obtained a PhD at the same university, studying the effect of natural extracts from plants as antitumoral agents. He then moved to Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, where he identified and characterized targeted small-molecule treatments for different types of cancers, such as lymphomas, leukemias, and colon and breast cancers. Before joining NanoTemper, Mariano worked at the high-throughput screening facility at Rockefeller University, helping other researchers with assay development and training in different biophysical and biological technologies, including MST and DSF. In his spare time, Mariano loves cooking, learning about architecture and interior design, gardening, and traveling.
