Meet NanoTemper’s New Executive Leadership Team

As NanoTemper enters its next phase of growth, this team will guide the company toward new breakthroughs, applications, and opportunities in support of our team and scientists worldwide.

 

Stefan Duhr, Ph.D., Co-Founder & CEO

Stefan Duhr, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of NanoTemper, leads the company’s global strategy, operations, and scientific innovation. Since co-founding NanoTemper in 2008, he has grown the company into a global leader in biophysical characterization, with offices in 11 countries and a team of more than 200 employees worldwide.

Stefan holds a master’s degree in Biochemistry and a Ph.D. in Physics, and his research has resulted in multiple patents and publications in leading journals, including Nature, PNAS, and ACS. He is committed to building a diverse leadership team grounded in NanoTemper’s core values of integrity, curiosity, and impact, and emphasizes collaboration, adaptability, and a strong customer focus as drivers of innovation.

Under his leadership, NanoTemper has developed technologies that deliver high-quality data to support critical drug discovery decisions. Stefan is a strong advocate for transformative scientific breakthroughs and works toward a future in which every disease can be treated.

 

 

Eva Lindskog, Ph.D., Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Eva joined NanoTemper in 2025 as Chief Commercial Officer. In this role, she leads the company’s commercial functions, including sales, marketing, and product management. She brings extensive leadership experience from the life sciences leaders Sartorius and GE Healthcare (now Cytiva), as well as the global CDMO leader Lonza. She has had executive oversight over a variety of functions, working on initiatives including large-scale business transformations, optimization, and efficiency programs.

At the core of Eva’s leadership is driving long-term sustainable growth. This is done through building high-performing teams, focusing strategically on the most attractive market segments, and managing complexity where it matters the most. Eva is highly goal-oriented and deeply committed to strengthening NanoTemper’s global commercial footprint, with a strong emphasis on customer collaboration, partnership, and trust.

Eva holds a Ph.D. in biotechnology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.

 

 

Steffen Schneider, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Steffen joined NanoTemper in November 2025 and oversees global financial strategy and information technology (IT) operations. He brings more than two decades of experience across corporate finance, investment banking, and executive leadership within the technology and energy sectors.

Before joining NanoTemper, Steffen held CFO and board roles at HomeToGo, sonnen GmbH, and SFC Energy AG, where he led financial performance, capital structure, and growth strategies for these international businesses. His deep financial expertise, focus on investing in innovation, and entrepreneurial mindset will play a key role in supporting NanoTemper’s long-term growth strategy.

 

 

Jörg Stegert, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Jörg Stegert joined NanoTemper as CHRO in January 2026, overseeing people strategy, organizational development, and human resources (HR) to support the company’s ambitious growth plans.

With more than 25 years as a senior HR leader at Siemens AG, Knorr-Bremse AG, and Endress+Hauser Group, Jörg brings deep expertise in strategic workforce planning, the digital transformation of HR processes, compensation management, and the development of shared service organizations. His expertise in developing scalable, people- and customer-focused organizations will be critical to NanoTemper as it continues to grow and expand its global presence.

 

 

Werner Streicher, Ph.D., Chief Scientific Officer (CSO)

Since joining NanoTemper in 2020, Werner has held several key leadership roles, including Head of Research and Vice President of Research and Development, and now serves as Chief Scientific Officer. He has played a central role in advancing technologies that deliver deeper molecular insights and expand applications across biopharmaceutical drug discovery workflows.

As Chief Scientific Officer, Werner leads NanoTemper’s scientific strategy, research, and innovation efforts, with a focus on strengthening the company’s biophysical characterization solutions. His expertise spans protein chemistry, biophysics, and molecular biology, informed by prior leadership roles at Novozymes and the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research.

Werner earned his Ph.D. from the University of the Witwatersrand and has authored more than 35 scientific publications. He also holds patents related to protein stability, molecular interactions, and biophysical assays. Werner is deeply committed to NanoTemper’s mission to enable scientists to generate high-quality data that supports critical drug discovery decisions.

Martin Zech, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

A physicist and technology innovator with nearly two decades of experience scaling high-tech solutions, Martin will join NanoTemper as Chief Technology Officer in April 2026. In this role, he will oversee development, production, research, and the company’s global supply chain.

For more than 15 years, Martin played a pivotal role at Attocube Systems AG, helping transform the company from a startup into a global leader in scientific instrumentation while advancing technologies in cryogenics, scanning probe microscopy, and precision instrumentation.

As CTO, Martin will focus on developing innovative products informed by market insights and building a state-of-the-art product development process. He earned his Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Konstanz and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard University.

 

 

Andreas Söllner, Chief of Staff

Since joining NanoTemper in 2022, Andreas has played an increasingly critical role in supporting the company’s growth, enhancing operational excellence and customer satisfaction, and strengthening employee engagement during this period of rapid growth.

As Chief of Staff, effective January 1, 2026, Andreas will build on his accomplishments and lead strategy development and execution, driving cross-functional alignment among NanoTemper’s executive leadership team to help achieve long-term goals and vision.
