NanoTemper introduces Monolith Omni

NanoTemper Technologies introduces Monolith Omni, unifying affinity, kinetics, and stability in one workflow.

New benchtop platform delivers in-solution interaction profiling from 10 µL samples, without surface immobilization.

Munich, Germany – NanoTemper Technologies, a global leader in biophysical characterization solutions, announced the launch of Monolith Omni, a new benchtop platform that combines affinity measurement, kinetic profiling, and stability analysis in a single, streamlined workflow. Designed for researchers working with challenging targets and limited material, Monolith Omni enables multi-parameter interaction characterization entirely in solution, using just 10 µL of sample.

A more complete view of biomolecular interactions

Understanding how molecules interact is central to drug discovery, protein biochemistry, and fundamental biological research. While affinity measurements are an established starting point, kinetic and stability data are often critical for making confident decisions about candidates – yet obtaining them typically requires separate instruments, additional sample, and added workflow complexity.

Monolith Omni addresses this challenge. By integrating four complementary biophysical technologies – Spectral ShiftnanoTAK (nano Temperature Alteration Kinetics)nanoLISA (nano Laser Induced Stability Analysis), and TRIC (Temperature Related Intensity Change) – into a single instrument, researchers can now generate affinity constants, binding kinetics (kon/koff), thermodynamic parameters, and stability readouts from the same sample, in one workflow.

“Monolith Omni isn’t just a product launch, it opens a new chapter for NanoTemper. It helps scientists move beyond data collection toward a deeper understanding of molecular interactions, with less friction, less sample, and a faster time to insight. For teams working on tough questions, that’s a meaningful step forward.” — Dr. Stefan Duhr, CEO, NanoTemper Technologies

What Monolith Omni delivers

Measurements are performed entirely in solution – no surface immobilization, no surface-related artifacts. Samples run in biologically relevant conditions, including detergent-solubilized membrane proteins and cell lysates.

Target and modality range is exceptionally broad: membrane proteins, nucleic acids, small molecules, peptides, PROTACs, molecular glues, and degrader-induced ternary complexes are all accessible without workflow changes.

nanoTAK delivers binding kinetics free from the mass transport limitations that constrain surface-based methods. nanoLISA assesses protein unfolding and early aggregation at nanomolar concentrations in seconds – providing orthogonal hit confirmation without added complexity.

At just 10 µL per capillary, Monolith Omni is built for experiments where material is scarce, difficult to produce, or simply too valuable to waste.

Productive from day one: Installation and training can be completed in a single day. Intuitive software guides users through setup and analysis, with automated, publication-quality outputs.
