We are a company that creates biophysical characterization solutions, but that description only tells part of the story. Where it started.
NanoTemper began as two PhD students working out of a university basement. They had a new biophysical method in their hands and a simple, urgent belief: this could help so many people.
That belief hasn’t changed. Our founders wanted to work side by side with the scientists pushing the boundaries of what medicine can achieve. They wanted to equip those scientists with breakthrough technologies to get to a world where every disease is treatable.
What “breakthrough” means to us.
Breakthrough isn’t about incremental improvement. It’s about changing how things are done.
Scientists working in drug development are up against real stakes. Is this molecule binding to the right target? Is it stable? Can it be manufactured? Can it clear the necessary quality checks? If any of those questions are answered incorrectly, it delays new medicines by years. It delays patients getting the treatments they need.
NanoTemper builds tools that help scientists answer those questions with high-quality data and fast measurement times, so they can make decisions with clarity instead of doubt.
Why “faster” is so critical to our customers.
Every delay in getting a new medicine to a patient is a delay worth fighting. A drug coming to market 2 weeks sooner can mean the difference between life and death.
Faster doesn’t mean cutting corners. It means giving scientists the tools to stop spending long nights running experiments that have a high chance of failing. It means delivering data that is trustworthy. It means reducing the friction between a question and a confident answer.

NanoTemper was built in partnership with scientists, and that is how we intend to keep developing. From early discovery through to commercial manufacturing: we are expanding our reach so that the same depth of partnership and scientific rigor that defined our early years, now supports teams at every stage of drug development.
