Speaker information
With 14 years in drug discovery across large pharma and biotech, Derrick has helped guide 19 programs to clinical candidates, from an HIV capsid inhibitor to a WRN inhibitor for MSI-high cancer. He's known for designing sharp, fit-for-purpose experiments that cut through ambiguity and help teams make better decisions, faster.
With seven years of experience in biotech, Nathan Wallace is a Field Applications Scientist Manager at NanoTemper Technologies. He holds a PhD in Biology and is passionate about supporting cutting-edge drug discovery research through innovative biophysical characterization solutions. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and dog.
Stefan Duhr co-founded NanoTemper Technologies in 2008, guided by a belief that complex biophysical science should be accessible, actionable, and built alongside the scientists who use it. He holds an M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Universität Witten/Herdecke and a doctorate in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. Today, he leads NanoTemper’s mission to co-create tools that help drug developers move from data to confident decisions, faster.
