We are bringing together the biophysics community for a full day of discovery, dialogue, and hands-on learning at one of Bern's most iconic locations: Universitätsspital Bern.

No matter where you are on your biophysical characterization journey — just getting started or well into your research — you will find value in this event. Gain practical insights from NanoTemper specialists and an external speaker, and exchange ideas with peers working across structural biology, drug discovery, protein engineering, and beyond.

Admission is free and the doors are open to researchers and partners from academia, industry, and biotech alike.

What you can expect

  • Discover

    Get detailed insights into Spectral Shift and Microscale Thermophoresis (MST) technologies, a tool for quantitative analysis of the most challenging biomolecular interactions in-solution. Learn also about Prometheus Panta, the method of choice for analysis of protein folding, aggregation, homogeneity and stability, based on nanoDSF, DLS, turbidity and SLS technologies.

  • Hands-On Lab Day (9th July afternoon and 10th July morning)

    Bring your own samples and test them on Monolith X to study molecular interactions, with guidance from our application specialists. Spots are limited, so make sure to indicate your interest at registration.

  • Connect

    Get feedback from experienced users, or discuss your own projects with NanoTemper’s Application Specialists and with the instrument users. Take advantage of the tools already installed in the campus to boost your research!
